Device Description:
The ChopSTX Drum Resistance Trainer is designed to offer resistance training for a drummer's drum stroke, without compromising the natural range of motion during play. By conditioning the initiation phase of a drum-stroke, the device is intended to support speed, power, and precision which is the catalyst for the rest of the beat.
Intended Use
ChopSTX Drum Trainers are intended for use by drummers to augment traditional and existing practice methods.
Instructions for Safe Use
...

2.
Slide one of the elastic resistance bands over the tip of the device. Then roll it over the distal face of the ChopSTX trainer and into the desired recess. The recess closest to the front of the drumstick provides the most resistance, and the furthest recess provides the least. Only one elastic band should be used at a time.

Position hand as shown and rapidly compress / release the lever a short distance, as if initiating multiple drumstrokes. NOTE: It is not necessary to actuate the device the full throw. The ChopSTX lever actuated by the user should not contact the drumstick. The device is intended to generate speed, power, and precision by conditioning the initiation phase of a drum-stroke, which is the catalyst for the rest of the beat.
